Welcome to St Nicholas, Your Parish Church.

A warm welcome awaits you at St Nicholas

The church has been at the heart of the village since 11th century and one of our trees is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086. The building has late Saxon origins with parts dating back to the early 12th century and probably replacing a much earlier wooden structure.

This place of Christian worship, prayer, ministry and mission is still active and alive and acts as a focal point for celebrating the key events in people’s lives and those of the village.
